Adoption and healing

Adoption is complicated.

And sometimes simply finding a safe place to sort through it all can be really difficult. As a therapist who specializes in adoption and attachment — and as a fellow adoptee myself — I support adoptees of all ages, helping them find healing and wholeness in a variety of ways, including:

  • Healing from attachment losses and building trust in relationships

  • Navigating complicated emotions and family dynamics

  • Understanding how adoption affects us throughout different life stages

  • Sorting through issues of identity and belonging, including those related to culture and ethnicity
